A CS2 Premier stack rarely lasts because five Ratings look similar. It also needs overlapping hours, stable latency to the same region, a workable veto pool, clear mid-round leadership, and an agreement on review. Keep a public LFG post to PC, region, Rating range, role, language, maps, and schedule. Never request a Steam password, real name, phone number, payment, or account access.
Choose role, maps, and schedule before Rating
Two dedicated AWPers without an entry, or a Mirage-only player joining a broad-map team, creates friction immediately. State whether this is a twice-weekly social stack, a Rating climb, or tournament practice. Add acceptable ping, voice tool, and consent rules for demos and public clips so candidates can opt out before private contact is exchanged.
CS2 Premier recruitment brief
| Check | Put in the post | Verify in the first session |
|---|---|---|
| Region and hours | East Asia/PC, Tue/Thu 21:00–24:00 KST | Ping and packet loss on one server |
| Skill and goal | Current Rating range and season goal | Calls, fights, and economy over two games |
| Role and maps | IGL/entry/support/lurk/AWP; three maps+ | Two smokes and one basic site entry |
| Voice and review | Language, microphone, demo scope | Review one lost round without blame |
A practical recruiting sequence
- 1Write one scannable brief — Put region, hours, Rating, goal, role, and maps in the first paragraph.
- 2Use equal questions — Ask every candidate about main and flex roles, weekly hours, voice, and their last team.
- 3Keep identity checks game-safe — Use Steam and in-game context; reject passwords, documents, money, or account sharing.
- 4Run a bounded tryout — Practice utility, then play only two or three Premier or scrim games.
- 5Decide with criteria — Score punctuality, calls, role discipline, feedback, and composure rather than kills alone.
Checklist before sending an invite
- PC, region, preferred server, and realistic ping
- Current Rating range and honest goal
- Open role, flex role, and map pool
- Voice language, microphone, start and end time
- Consent before demos, voice, or clips leave the team
- No real-name, phone, address, login, payment, or account-sharing request

Use DOR to review play context
DOR does not automatically match a roster or verify identity, Rating, or skill. Use the Counter-Strike 2 game page, public clips, and communities as extra play context. Refine the post with the game friend and party guide, then review consensual rounds with the CS2 demo guide.
Recheck current rules at the official source
Valve’s official CS2 Prime Status FAQ says Prime Status is required for Premier. Seasons, Rating, maps, and leaderboard conditions can change, so check Steam and the client on recruiting day.
