Worlds 2026 is being played in the United States, and the Swiss stage wrapped up on October 31 in Allen, Texas. China's LPL sent four teams: Anyone's Legend (AL), Bilibili Gaming (BLG), Top Esports (TES) and Invictus Gaming (iG).
Three of them made the quarterfinals, two of them met in the very first series, and iG and BLG are the two still alive.
If you follow the LPL from North America or Europe, this page collects what you need in one place, based on official results as of November 4, 2026: every Swiss round for the four LPL teams, the quarterfinal and semifinal start times in ET and PT, and who each LPL team could meet in the semifinals.
TES vs iG is done and the other quarterfinals are still to come, so there are no predictions here; check the official results after each series. At the end there is a short section on recording your own League of Legends games so you can compare them with what the pros did.
Where the LPL stands: three teams in the quarterfinals, AL out in Swiss
The Swiss stage ran five rounds: three wins to advance, three losses to go home. Rounds 1 and 2 were best of one; after that, only the 1-1 matches stayed best of one and everything else was best of three.
iG lost its opener to Gen.G, then won three straight and beat LYON 2-1 in Round 4 to become the first LPL team into the knockout stage. It is iG's first Worlds knockout run since its 2019 semifinal, seven years ago.
TES dropped its first match to Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), beat AL and G2, then won the all LPL Round 4 series against BLG 2-1. BLG took the long road: a loss to Movistar KOI, wins over Team Liquid and Karmine Corp, a 1-2 loss to TES, and then a 2-0 win over HLE in the 2-2 decider.
HLE had beaten BLG 3-2 in this year's MSI final. AL, the LPL's first seed, lost to Karmine Corp and TES and then fell 0-2 to Team Liquid. The LCK also sent three teams to the quarterfinals (Gen.G, Dplus KIA and T1), and the West sent two: Karmine Corp from the LEC and LYON from the LCS.
In the first quarterfinal, iG beat TES 3 games to 1. TES took Game 2 but lost Games 1, 3 and 4, and its run ended there. 369 played top lane for TES at this event.
On October 6, TES said on its official Weibo that starting top laner ZUIAN had failed two US visa interviews and could not travel with the team for now, and that 369 would join the starting lineup. iG is in its first Worlds semifinal since 2019 and will face the winner of Gen.G vs LYON.

What to know before the quarterfinals
- Every knockout series is best of five with Fearless Draft: a champion picked earlier in a series cannot be picked again by either team in later games, so a full five game series tests how deep each champion pool goes.
- Times: quarterfinals and semifinals start at 4 PM CST, which is 5 PM ET and 2 PM PT. The final starts at 2 PM ET (11 AM PT). Daylight saving time ended on November 1, so all of these are standard time.
- The quarterfinal pairings came from a draw. The two 3-0 teams, Gen.G and DK, went to opposite halves and drew 3-2 teams, and the rest were drawn at random, which is how TES and iG ended up together.
- iG has already given the LPL one semifinalist. If BLG beats DK, there will be two.

- 1Tue Nov 3, 5 PM ET: TES vs iG, won by iGThe knockout stage opened with an LPL civil war in Allen, Texas. It was best of five and single elimination: iG won 3 games to 1 to reach the semifinals, and TES went home. The two teams did not meet in Swiss, so this was their first series of the event.
- 2Wed Nov 4, 5 PM ET: Gen.G vs LYONThe winner meets iG in the semifinals. Both teams have already played iG at this event: Gen.G beat iG in Round 1 of Swiss, and LYON lost to iG 1-2 in Round 4.
- 3Thu Nov 5, 5 PM ET: Dplus KIA vs BLGLCK against LPL. DK went 3-0 in Swiss and BLG went 3-2. On the published bracket, this winner faces the winner of T1 vs Karmine Corp, which is played on Friday, November 6 at 5 PM ET.
