Key takeaways
  • PUBG Update 43.2 arrived on PC on October 14, 2026 and on console on October 22.
  • The headline changes are the SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo PvE mode, a communication and marker overhaul, and identical vehicle spawns in Normal and Ranked.
  • Replays from the previous version cannot be played after an update, so save the matches you care about as video.

Here are the PUBG patch notes for 43.2 in plain words. Update 43.2 went live on PC during maintenance on October 14, 2026 from 00:00 to 08:30 UTC, and on console on October 22 from 01:00 to 09:00 UTC. The quick version: a limited co op PvE mode opens on Rondo for squads of up to four; radial messages and world markers were reworked, which changes how your team calls things out; and vehicle spawns on the main maps are now the same in Normal and Ranked. There is no gunplay or weapon balance section this time, so your feel for weapons from 43.1 still holds. Map info and recording tips live on our PUBG page.

The 3 changes that matter most for your play style

If you mostly play Ranked, the vehicle change is the big one. On Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Vikendi, Deston and Rondo, vehicles now spawn the same way in Normal and Ranked, so the routes you learn in casual games carry straight over. Each map has 6 Motor Gliders: 2 at fixed spots with a little fuel and 4 at random points among 20 with no fuel. If you play in a squad, learn the new radial first: there are new messages for getting in the vehicle and for moving, and the move call takes the place of the thank you call. If you host custom games, your toolbox grew a lot. To compare how these changes feel, follow how to record PUBG gameplay and keep your first few matches on video.

What to check after 43.2

  • Review where your most used radial messages sit now that the layout changed
  • Decide whether to bind radial pages 2 and 3 to their own keys
  • Rethink your drop routes for Ranked now that vehicle spawns match Normal
  • Do not expect replays from before the update to play; the basics are in our PUBG replay guide
  • Make sure replay saving is turned on in your options
PUBG replays are only kept if replay saving is enabled in your options before the match, and you watch them from Career, then Replays. Official patch notes have said more than once that replays made in an earlier client version cannot be watched after an update. If a match matters, turn it into a video file, as shown in PUBG replay to MP4.

Save the matches you care about before replays expire

  1. 1Install DORInstall DOR, the free Windows app, and sign in. There is no record button to remember.
  2. 2Play PUBG as usualWhen you launch PUBG, DOR records the whole match automatically and turns your kills into separate clips. For disk space planning, see the PUBG recording storage guide.
  3. 3Polish your clipsIn DOR Studio, trim the part you want, merge clips, switch to 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1, and add text and BGM.
  4. 4Export and shareExport as mp4 to keep it, or share a dor.gg link with friends. The video stays playable after the next update.

Keep your PUBG matches no matter what the next update does

DOR is a free Windows app. Launch PUBG and it records your whole match automatically as you play, and your kills are cut into automatic clips. Because the result is a normal video file instead of a version locked replay, you can watch it again after any update. In DOR Studio you can trim and merge clips, switch to 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1, add text and BGM, then export as mp4 or share a dor.gg link. Clips and recording info for the game are collected on our PUBG page.
