Anime Dice does what the name says: you roll dice and pull anime style characters. It is made by the verified More & More Games group, which has about 1.37 million members, and since it was created on August 15, 2026 it has passed about 114 million visits in two months. On October 20 it showed about 174,000 favorites and roughly 77,000 people playing at that moment, with about 679,000 likes against only about 5,600 dislikes, which puts its approval above 99 percent. A server holds up to 9 players. Roblox files it under Simulation as an Incremental Simulator, and on the same day it was 15th in Top Playing Now in every one of the 15 chart settings we checked. The country by country picture is in popular Roblox games right now. This guide sticks to what the official description and the update posts on the experience page confirm. Tier lists and drop rates that the creator does not publish are left out.
The short version: roll, grow your dice, build your team, repeat
The official description explains how to play in four lines: roll dice and reveal characters, upgrade your dice to gain even more luck, build the strongest team possible, and collect rare characters and mutations. It then adds that the best characters will carry you up the leaderboards. At the very top it says in large letters that money generates while you are offline, so the basic rhythm is to drop in a few times a day, spend what piled up on dice upgrades and roll again. The update posts show new content almost every Saturday: trading on August 29, free to play quests on September 5 and Update 4 on September 12. The Update 4 post alone lists random weather events, 7 new units and 1 new rarity, a new tower with 9 new potions, tier 4 potions in the Infinity Tower, a new trait and a new grade, a new rebirth, an extra unit slot, 2 new dice, trait and grade filters and an updated trade system. Halloween Part 1 opened on October 18, and Part 2 with an update is scheduled for October 25. For a new player the natural order is to fill your team slots by rolling and upgrading first, then start matching traits and grades. A rare character or a mutation only appears once, so it is worth having on video. If you have not recorded Roblox before, start with how to record Roblox gameplay.
Starting Anime Dice: do it in this order
- 1Join with the PC version of RobloxOpen Anime Dice in the PC version of Roblox from roblox.com. With DOR installed, recording starts by itself with nothing to press, so your very first roll is on video.
- 2Roll to fill your first teamRolling is the first line of the official description. Fill your team slots with whatever you pull. Early on, filling empty slots matters more than rarity.
- 3Spend offline money on dice upgradesMoney keeps generating while you are away, so upgrade your dice first when you come back. As the description says, upgrades raise your luck and make rare pulls more likely.
- 4Tune the team with trait and grade filtersUpdate 4 brought trait and grade filters. Keep the characters with the traits you want and trade away the rest. If you need trading partners, try the Roblox group finder.
- 5Come back after the Saturday updateUpdate posts land almost every Saturday. The first rolls after new dice or an event arrive get the biggest reactions, so join right after an update and keep the whole session.
Anime Dice moments worth keeping, and what officially backs them
| Moment | What the official sources confirm | How to keep it |
|---|---|---|
| A roll that lands a rare character | The description names collecting rare characters as a goal. | Save a clip right after the result and the roll animation comes with it. |
| A character with a mutation | Rare characters and mutations are listed together in the description. | Keep the mutation label on screen a few extra seconds before saving. |
| The first roll with a new die | Update 4 added 2 new dice. | Keep before and after in one video so the difference is obvious. |
| A random weather event | Random weather events are listed in the Update 4 post. | You never know when one starts, so trim it later from the full recording. |
| Your name on the leaderboard | Climbing the leaderboards is the goal the description sets. | Leave the leaderboard open for a few seconds so the record is readable. |

Keep every Anime Dice roll with sound using DOR
All you do is launch Roblox. There is no button to press and nothing to set up: DOR, a free Windows PC app, recognizes the PC version of Roblox and starts AI auto recording the moment you join Anime Dice. When you leave to the home screen, that session lands in your library as one mp4. Game audio and your microphone are recorded together on one track, so the shouting when a result lands stays in the file, and AI voice notes log what was said with timestamps so you can jump back to the loudest moments. To keep the rare character that just appeared on its own, press the clip hotkey and the last 30 seconds are saved as a clip, with 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds to choose from. Recording defaults to 1080p at 30fps, with 60fps available. Pick the clips you saved and press Create highlight, and the AI highlight joins them into one video; trim any part to 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 and share it with a single dor.gg link. DOR Studio opens right in your browser for text, background music and effect templates. If anime collecting is your thing, the Vanguards guide covers another big one.
