One Piece is officially in Fortnite. Epic Games announced the Treasure Hunters mini-season in an official news post on October 30, and it went live on November 1.
Each week a new captain sails into Battle Royale with their own crew and POI: the Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky lead the way, followed by Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto.
The first thing most players search is simple: how do you get Luffy in Fortnite, and which One Piece skins are in the Battle Pass? The answer depends on the character. Luffy is an Item Shop outfit, Ace is a Battle Pass reward, and the rest of the crew lands in the shop on set dates.
This guide sticks to what Epic has officially confirmed as of November 3, 2026.
You will find a table of every One Piece character and where it comes from, how to choose between the shop and the pass, the steps to unlock each one, a short checklist before you spend V-Bucks, and how to keep a clip of your first match in the new skin. Prices vary by region and bundle, so check them in the in-game shop.

Item Shop or Battle Pass: decide by the character you want
Epic's announcement lists two main places to get the One Piece characters in Treasure Hunters, and the character decides which. Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, Sanji, Buggy and the Chopper Sidekick are Item Shop items: buy them with V-Bucks and they are yours right away. Portgas D.
Ace and Nico Robin are rewards in this season's Battle Pass, so you unlock them by owning the pass and leveling it up through play. That makes the choice easy. If you only want Luffy, go to the shop.
If you want Ace and Robin too and plan to play through the season, the Battle Pass is the better fit, and it also carries new anime looks for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte that match the One Piece art style.
If you subscribe to Fortnite Crew, Epic's Crew page says it includes full access to the current Battle Pass, so check the Battle Pass tab before you buy it separately. Shop characters land on different days: Zoro, Sanji and Chopper on November 7 and Buggy on November 13, both listed in Eastern Time.
Outside the Americas the drop can show up on the next calendar day, so look at the shop around each date. The shop rotates often, so grab the character you want in the week it appears. If you play competitive, there is one more route.
In an official community post on November 1, Epic said top regional performers in the One Piece: Zoro Cup (November 6) and the One Piece: Buggy Cup (November 13) can earn the Roronoa Zoro and Buggy Outfits and their accessories.
As of November 3, 2026, the full details and official rules were not yet on the competitive schedule, so watch Fortnite's official competitive page and the in-game Compete tab.

Record your One Piece matches automatically with DOR
Fortnite is played in third person, so the skin you just bought sits in the middle of the screen the whole match. If you want to keep Luffy stretching across the map with the Gum-Gum Fruit, or your first Victory Royale in the new outfit, run DOR before you queue.
DOR is a free Windows app: when you launch Fortnite it detects the game, records the whole match, and saves your eliminations and deaths as separate highlight clips. Recordings collect in My Clips in the app, and the free plan lets you pick up to 1080p at 60 fps (the default is 1080p at 30 fps).
For a Victory Royale, trim that stretch out of the full-match recording; the app trims to 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 directly. If you would rather re-shoot a match from new camera angles with Fortnite's own replay system, see how to turn a Fortnite replay into video, and for vertical shorts see how to record vertical gaming shorts.
In DOR Studio (dor.gg/studio) you can merge several matches, add effect templates such as shake zoom, text and background music, then export an mp4 or send a dor.gg link that plays straight in a phone browser. The full sharing walkthrough is in how to share Fortnite clips with friends.
