DOR uses GPU hardware encoding for low-overhead capture, so the impact is small. If it still struggles, switch to 720p/30fps mode in settings.
Fortnite records as a black screen in fullscreen
DOR captures fullscreen, windowed and borderless modes alike, and switches to monitor capture on games that block game capture, so you don't get a black screen.
Will a recorder get my Fortnite account banned?
DOR has no cheat features and never modifies game files or your gameplay data, it only captures video. Where anti-cheat blocks the capture hook, DOR switches to monitor capture to record your Fortnite session.

How do I clip Fortnite on PC?

Can I record just my Fortnite kills?
Yes. DOR detects eliminations and deaths, so each kill ends up as its own clip in your library.
Do I still need Fortnite's replay mode?
You can skip it. DOR already captured your POV during the match, so you trim and share straight from the library.
Can I use DOR clips for Fortnite edits?

Does it record Zero Build and Reload too?

Is there a limit on recording time or clip count?
No time or count limits. Auto-manage is on by default, so once your storage limit (30GB by default) fills up, the oldest recordings you have not liked are cleared first.
