Marvel Rivals Season 11 has an official date, and the exact start time is announced in the season's patch notes.
The official Season 10.5 roadmap, posted on the game's official social channels on October 7, 2026, lays out weekly drops from October 9 and ends with a November 13 card that reads 'Coming Soon' and 'Season 11.0'.
As of November 3, NetEase has not published Season 11 patch notes, so the start time, the new hero lineup and any ranked changes are still unconfirmed.
This guide sticks to what the official site, the Steam announcements and the official social posts actually say: when Season 11 starts, what the last two launches tell you about timing, which Season 10.5 events close before the switch, which modes keep running, and what to do before the new season so your last Season 10.5 matches are not lost. Hero names floating around from leaks are not official, so they are left out.
When does Marvel Rivals Season 11 start? November 13, time TBA
The date is set, but as of November 3 the hour is not. The most useful reference is the last two launches. Season 10 arrived on September 11 and Season 10.5 on October 9, both with maintenance starting at 09:00 UTC, and the official patch notes estimated about two hours each time.
Daylight saving time ended in the US on November 1, so 09:00 UTC on November 13 is 1 AM PST and 4 AM EST, and the official notes already say All Hallows' Glow ends at exactly that moment. Still, treat the Season 11 hour as unknown until its own patch notes are out.
On heroes, Season 10 added a single new villain, Gorr the God Butcher. In the Season 10 dev video the team said a single hero season 'isn't the new normal', and in September PC Gamer and Insider Gaming reported that Season 11 returns to two heroes. No names were official as of November 3.
For ranked, every season since Season 5 has opened with 10 placement matches, and Season 11 changes will be listed under Competitive in the patch notes. See our Marvel Rivals rank distribution and placement guide for how your starting rank is set.
What to do before and after Season 11 starts
- 1Watch for the official Season 11 patch notesThe Season 10 and Season 10.5 notes both went up on the official Marvel Rivals site and Steam announcements one to three days before launch, and they listed the start time, the maintenance window, new content and Rank Rewards. Read the source post rather than screenshots reposted on social media.
- 2Finish Season 10.5 rewards before November 13All Hallows' Glow, which hands out Rocket Raccoon's Trash King costume for free through event missions, and Galacta's Gift Vol. 3, the limited Costume Coin exchange store, both close at 09:00 UTC on November 13. If you play ranked, the Season 10.5 Gold reward, Jeff the Land Shark's Razor-Tooth costume, has to be earned before Season 10.5 ends.
- 3Free up disk space and recheck graphics settingsA season update means a download, so check free space on the install drive first. Official specs and storage are in Marvel Rivals system requirements, FPS options in Marvel Rivals best settings, and if the game will not open or keeps closing after the patch, work through the Marvel Rivals crashing and not launching fixes.
- 4Leave DOR running for your last and first matchesWith the free DOR app installed on Windows, every Marvel Rivals match is detected and recorded from start to finish, and the videos collect in My Clips. Your final Season 10.5 games and your first Season 11 games are saved without pressing record.
- 5Trim and share your first Season 11 momentsPick the moment you want from the recorded match and trim it yourself, including your first game on a new hero once one arrives. Cutting to 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 and sending a dor.gg link is covered in how to share Marvel Rivals gameplay videos.

Keep your Season 10.5 matches on video before the switch
New seasons shift balance and the meta, and it is often worth rewatching how a team comp worked before the patch. DOR is a free Windows game recorder.
When you launch Marvel Rivals and a match begins, it detects the match and records the whole thing automatically, and each recording lands in My Clips inside the app. Game audio and your mic are captured together on one track, so your callouts are there too.
To keep a specific moment, pick it from the recorded match and trim it yourself in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. In DOR Studio you can merge several matches, add effect templates such as Shake Zoom, text and background music, then export an mp4 or share a dor.gg link that plays right in a phone browser.
See the DOR browser clip editor guide for the editor. Storage is only trimmed when full gameplay recordings go over their share (5 GB by default), oldest first, and your latest recording and liked videos stay.
