Attack on Titan Revolution, usually shortened to AoTR, is a Roblox action RPG about humanity's fight against the titans.
The official description invites you to join the battle of freedom and lead humanity in a revolution, and the heart of the game is your ODM gear, which you shape into your own play style.
The experience is run by AoTR [PI], a Roblox group with a verified badge and about 11.5 million members, and it was created on May 7, 2023. Roblox files it under RPG, Action RPG, with up to 30 players per server.
Besides the main place, Roblox lists 13 more places inside the experience, with names such as Shiganshina, Trost, Utgard, Stohess and Forest.
As of early November 3, 2026 (US Eastern time), Roblox's own data on PC showed about 1.19 billion visits, around 41,700 concurrent players, about 1.56 million favorites and a like ratio of roughly 96%.
With the country set to the United States, Roblox's official charts had it at #5 in Top Trending and #23 in Top Playing Now, and the UK chart had it at #2 in Top Trending. The name now starts with [UPDATE 5], and it was last updated at 10:23 PM ET on November 2.
One thing worth knowing up front: Roblox does not mark AoTR as an officially licensed experience, so treat it as a creator-made experience by the Roblox group AoTR [PI] rather than an official release.
This guide sticks to what the experience page and Roblox's official data (badges and charts) confirm. Family stats, damage numbers and Update 5 patch notes are not on the page, so they are not guessed here.
Bottom line: join the group, learn the controls, build your ODM, then hit Raids
If you remember three things from this guide, make them these. First, join the AoTR [PI] group before you play. The official description says group members get +5.0% XP and +5.0% Gold in game, and that bonus adds up the earlier you have it.
Second, learn the controls yourself. The description only says that all controls can be found in the game settings, so open settings before your first fight, look over movement, attacks and ODM controls, and rebind anything that feels awkward. Third, treat your ODM setup as your build.
Upgrades, Perks, Artifacts, Families and Cosmetics are the five things the description lists for customizing your ODM play style. Their exact numbers are not published, so change one at a time to find what suits you, then move on to the Raids mode once the gear feels natural.
According to the description, Raids is where you take on Shifters and can steal the ability to shift for yourself. If a Raid feels rough solo, playing with friends makes it easier, and the steps below show how to join a friend's server.
Fast ODM movement falls apart when your frame rate dips, so if aiming and dodging feel choppy, check how to boost Roblox FPS on PC first.
Your first session in Attack on Titan Revolution, step by step
- 1Find the right experience by its creatorSearch Roblox for Attack on Titan Revolution. The right one starts with [UPDATE 5], is made by the verified group AoTR [PI] and shows roughly 1.19 billion visits. Other experiences may use similar names, so check the creator before you join.
- 2Join the group and check the controlsClick the creator name on the experience page and join AoTR [PI] to get +5.0% XP and +5.0% Gold in game. Once you spawn, open the game settings before rushing into a fight. The official description says every control is listed there, so learn movement, attacks and ODM controls first and rebind what feels awkward.
- 3Shape your ODM play styleOnce fights feel familiar, start shaping your ODM gear. The description names five ways to customize it: Upgrades, Perks, Artifacts, Families and Cosmetics. Exact numbers are not published, so change one thing at a time and test it against a similar enemy to see whether it suits you.
- 4Take on Shifters in Raids with friendsWhen the gear feels natural, head into the Raids mode. Per the description, that is where you fight Shifters and can steal the ability to shift. If a friend is already playing, open their Roblox profile and use Join Experience to land in their server, as long as their settings allow it (per Roblox Help). The description does not say how many players enter a Raid together or how parties work, so check the in-game screens.
- 5Set goals with achievements and check codesAchievements give you a clear next target instead of mindless grinding. Badges sit on 13 categories such as Titan Mastery, Scout Feats, Razor Edge and Wings of Valor, and each one unlocks when you finish every achievement in that category. Look up current codes in the community server, as the description says, and follow the official socials for Update 5 news.
What AoTR's official info confirms, and the moments worth clipping
| Element | What the official info says | When you clip it |
|---|---|---|
| Basics | An action RPG by the Roblox group AoTR [PI], up to 30 players per server, and the description says it is available on all platforms. | Keep your very first session. It becomes the before shot when you compare your progress later. |
| ODM play style | Customized with Upgrades, Perks, Artifacts, Families and Cosmetics. | Clip the first fight after each new upgrade so you can see what actually changed. |
| Raids mode | Fight Shifters and steal the ability to shift for yourself. | Start the clip a few seconds before a Shifter goes down so the tension carries. |
| Achievements (badges) | Badges sit on 13 achievement categories and unlock when you finish every achievement in one. Razor Edge has been earned by about 2.08 million players, Wings of Valor by only about 6,300. | Save the whole run when a rare badge pops. It doubles as proof. |
| Group bonus | Joining AoTR [PI] gives +5.0% XP and +5.0% Gold in game. | Record one session before and one after joining if you want to compare rewards yourself. |
| Codes | The description says all current codes are in the community server and ties new codes to like milestones (1,450,000 likes as of November 3). | The first fight with a code reward makes an easy short clip. |
| Update 5 | The name carries [UPDATE 5], last updated 10:23 PM ET on November 2. The description points to the official socials for update news. | Your first run after an update is a handy record of what changed. |
Before you drop into AoTR
- I joined Attack on Titan Revolution made by AoTR [PI], not a look-alike.
- I joined the AoTR [PI] group for the +5% XP and Gold bonus.
- I checked the controls in the game settings and rebound what felt awkward.
- I looked up current codes in the community server and Update 5 news on the official socials.
- If Roblox closes right after joining, I went through Roblox crash fixes on PC first.
Record your titan kills and Raids in AoTR with DOR
Install DOR, a free Windows PC app, and recording starts automatically the moment you launch Roblox and join Attack on Titan Revolution. When you leave the experience, the recorded session lands in My Clips.
You never have to press anything, so your first titan kill, the Shifter you finally brought down in a Raid and the fights you survived with friends are all captured. Game audio and your microphone are captured together on one track, so your reactions stay in the clip too.
Afterward, open My Clips, pick the moments you want, trim them and choose 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. To stitch several titan kills into one video, follow how to make a montage: merge the clips in DOR Studio (dor.gg/studio) and drop an effect template such as Shake Zoom or Punch Zoom on the moment your blades connect.
The difference between freeze and emphasis effects is covered in freeze frame effects for game clips. Add text, background music and volume tweaks, then export an mp4 or share a dor.gg link that friends can play straight in a phone browser. The full sending flow is in how to share Roblox gameplay videos with friends.
Recording defaults to 1080p at 30fps, and 720p and 60fps are also free options. As recordings pile up, older videos are cleared only when the full gameplay storage share (5GB by default) is exceeded, and your latest recordings and liked videos stay.
