G-STAR is Korea's international game exhibition, held every November at BEXCO in Busan, and the 2026 edition keeps that slot. The short answer to 'when is G-STAR 2026' is November 19 to 22 for the public halls. A few things work differently this year, though.
Tickets are not sold at the door at all, only through an online presale. The Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) Asia Grand Finals take over the BEXCO Auditorium on their own ticket.
And the first floor of Exhibition Hall 2 adds the new G-STAR Global Game Showcase, with Koei Tecmo, Sega, Capcom, NetEase Games and CD Projekt Red.
This guide sticks to what was confirmed by November 3, 2026: the official G-STAR site, which also has an English version, for dates, tickets and the venue map, coverage of the organizer's late September announcement by Inven Global, ZDNet Korea, ETNews and OSEN, and Blizzard's official OWCS guide.
As of November 3, the exhibitor page on the official site already shows booth maps for Hall 1 and Hall 2, so the hall guide below follows that map, while the featured games come from reports on the organizer's and exhibitors' announcements.
Layouts can still change before opening, so check once more right before you go. If the show gets you playing at home afterwards, the last section shows how to keep your own Overwatch and PUBG matches.

Key point: tickets are an online presale on Ticketlink, nothing is sold at the door
Sort out your ticket first. According to the official G-STAR site, public (BTC) tickets for 2026 are sold 100% online in advance through Ticketlink, and there are no on-site sales. The sales window runs from 3:00 p.m.
on September 29 to 11:59 p.m. on November 21 (KST), but each day's ticket can only be bought until midnight the night before. So if you plan to go on Sunday the 22nd, finish booking by Saturday night.
Tickets are date-specific, get you in only on the day you booked, and are limited to two per person per day. There are adult and youth fares; the youth fare covers anyone born on or after January 1, 2008, and staff may ask for ID showing your date of birth, such as a student card or passport.
Visitors with disabilities, Korean national merit recipients and preschool children born in 2020 or later get in free after collecting a ticket at the information center, which opens an hour before the show. The public ticket covers the BTC halls only.
The business halls and G-CON need their own passes, and the KREAM Special Pass and the OWCS Asia Finals ticket are separate products. If you are booking from outside Korea, remember that every cutoff is in Korea Standard Time (UTC+9), not your local time.
From booking to the show floor
- 1Pick your day firstIf you only want the exhibition, any day from November 19 to 22 works. To catch the OWCS Asia Grand Finals as well, pick November 20, 21 or 22. The 18th belongs to the Korea Game Awards and the online G-STAR Premiere, and the public halls open the next day.
- 2Book a dated ticket on TicketlinkOn the official G-STAR site, the BTC ticket page has a buy button; once you agree to share your details with Ticketlink, it takes you to the Ticketlink booking page. You can buy up to two tickets per person for each day, until midnight before that day. Cancellation fees follow your visit date rather than your booking date, so book once your plans are firm.
- 3Buy the OWCS ticket separatelyThe OWCS Asia Finals ticket is its own product with its own button on the official BTC ticket page. Blizzard's official OWCS guide and coverage of the organizer's announcement both say match ticket holders also get same-day entry to the BTC halls. Ticketlink lists all three match days at 16:00 KST, and as of November 3 the teams had not been announced, so follow the official Overwatch Esports channels.
- 4Swap your ticket for a wristbandAt BEXCO, pick up an entry wristband at the on-site exchange desk before going in; the smart ticket check point is in the outdoor event area. On the 19th the doors open at 11:00 KST, ticket checks close at 17:00 and last entry is 17:30.
- 5Plan your route hall by hallOn the official booth map as of November 3, Hall 1 holds the large booths of HoYoverse (A01), Team42 (A02), KRAFTON (A03), Google Play (A04), main sponsor Crack (A05) and Webzen (D05), plus a Bandai Namco Entertainment booth (B05). Hall 2's first floor holds the G-STAR Indie Showcase 2.0: GALAXY (E01), booths from Koei Tecmo (E02), Sega (E03), Capcom (E04), NetEase (E05) and CD Projekt Red (E06), and the G-STAR special stage (E09). OWCS is in the Auditorium and G-CON in the Convention Hall. Noting the booth numbers you want, hall by hall, saves a lot of walking.
- 6Record from your first match back homeIf a demo or the OWCS finals gets you back into a PC game, record from your very first match. See how to record Overwatch on PC and the PUBG recording guide for ways to keep your gameplay.
Checklist before you go
- Choose your day and book that day's BTC ticket by midnight the night before
- Bring ID with your date of birth if you bought a youth ticket
- Book the OWCS Asia Finals ticket separately if you want to watch the matches
- Leave dangerous items at home and check that your cosplay follows the event's safety rules
- Note the booth numbers you want from the official booth map and recheck opening times just before the show
From G-STAR to your PC: keep your own matches with DOR
DOR is a free Windows app that records the PC games you play. Leave it running, launch Overwatch or PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, and DOR detects the game, records the whole match and saves highlight clips on its own: kills and deaths in Overwatch, kills, knocks and deaths in PUBG.
Everything lands in My Clips. The free plan records at 720p or 1080p and 30 or 60 fps. You can trim any moment to 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 in the app, then combine scenes and add text, music or effect templates in DOR Studio before exporting an mp4 or sharing a dor.gg link.
Watch the pros at BEXCO or on the official stream, then find the same situation in your own games with the Overwatch VOD review guide, or send your best round to friends with how to share PUBG clips.
