If your static finally cleared a raid in Lost Ark after days of attempts, or you all want to rewatch the wipe caused by one missed mechanic, record it with DOR and send just that scene. Lost Ark is a PC MMORPG run by Smilegate, built around party content such as the Kazeros Raid, Legion Raids, Abyss Raids and Guardian Raids. With the October 2026 app update, it became a DOR 'Full-play recording' game. Launch it and DOR detects it automatically and saves everything from launch to exit as one video. Treat raid days and daily-chore days differently
When retries pile up at each gate, two or three hours of raiding pass quickly, and the recording keeps growing the whole time. On days with a scheduled raid, leave recording on and clear plenty of disk space; on days you only run quick daily content, switch Lost Ark's Full-play recording off in settings to save space. Finding scenes in a raid recording and sending them to your group
- 1Check recording and disk before the raidIn DOR settings, confirm Lost Ark is on under 'Full-play recording' and that you have comfortably more than 20GB free. Then launch Lost Ark on your Windows PC; automatic detection starts recording, and it continues until you close the game.
- 2Count attempts by gate changes and retriesClearing a gate moves you to the next one, and a wipe sends you back to the start of the same gate. Scrub quickly through the recording and count where gates change and where retries begin, and you will soon know which attempt was the clear.
- 3Find the clear by working back from the rewardsAfter a gate clear there is a quiet stretch while everyone stops to check rewards. Find that first and rewind one to two minutes, and the last mechanic and the boss going down are both included.
- 4Start mechanic-mistake clips 10 seconds earlyA review clip with only the moment of the mistake does not show the cause. Trim from 10 seconds before the mechanic's warning to just after the wipe, and choose 16:9 so every raider's position is visible, so you can talk through who should have dodged where.
- 5Make awakening finishes a separate short vertical clipWhen you finish a boss with an awakening skill, your character and the effects sit in the center of the screen, so it holds up as a 9:16 vertical video. Make a 5-to-10-second vertical clip apart from the 16:9 video for your group, and send it to friends or post it as a short.
- 6Paste the link into your raid DiscordThe trimmed video can be shared as a dor.gg link. Paste it into your raid's Discord channel or guild chat, and everyone can watch it in a browser with no app and replay the same scene together before the next attempt.

Check before you send
- Lost Ark is switched on under 'Full-play recording' in settings.
- You cleared comfortably more than 20GB before the raid.

- The mechanic review clip starts 10 seconds before the mistake and is 16:9.
- The awakening clip is a separate 9:16 video from the group video.
- You told the group which gate and which attempt it was, in text or a message.
How DOR records Lost Ark
DOR is a free Windows desktop app. When you launch Lost Ark, it detects the game automatically and records until you close it as one mp4 video; it does not cut raid clears or awakening skills into automatic highlights.
