Mabinogi Mobile records automatically when you play on PC: install DOR, launch the game and the AI takes care of it. Despite the name, Nexon also offers a PC version, and DOR detects it and keeps everything from launch to exit in one video. There is no record button to press. Chats by the campfire in Tir Chonaill, an ensemble you finally got in sync with friends and a dungeon boss your party brought down all become video, and a day spent cooking and gathering is there to look back on later. This guide is for anyone recording Mabinogi Mobile for the first time. It covers getting ready, confirming the recording, saving moments, finding them by loading screens, building a vlog, sharing, and settings for long sessions.
- Keep a day on the PC version, moving between life skills and raids, in one video.
- Save an ensemble with friends, a dungeon boss kill or a perfect Tir Chonaill sunset as its own clip.
- Use AI Voice Notes to find campfire chatter like 'let's play the next song together' and jump straight to that scene.
- Join campfire breaks, a perfect dish and your first rune into a warm Erinn vlog.
- Send an ensemble clip to the friends who played it with you on Discord or in a group chat.
Before you record Mabinogi Mobile: install and recording mode
All you need to record Mabinogi Mobile is DOR. It is a free Windows app and never adds a watermark to your videos. DOR records Mabinogi Mobile running on PC, so on days you have a raid or an ensemble planned with friends, start by deciding to log in on the PC version. Mabinogi Mobile uses full session recording, so raids and life skills from one login sit together in the same video. Leaving life skills running for a long session easily produces recordings several hours long, so check recording long gameplay without stutter for tips on stable long recordings. The game is light on hardware, so recording runs smoothly even at minimum spec.

Record Mabinogi Mobile with DOR: step by step
- 1Install DORDownload DOR, install it and leave it running. If you chat with friends on voice while adventuring, confirm DOR has your usual headset mic selected. Ensemble music and voices are recorded together.
- 2Launch Mabinogi Mobile on PCStart Mabinogi Mobile on your PC and DOR detects the game and starts recording right away. Everything from choosing your character to stepping into Erinn is captured, so there is nothing to do before you reach Tir Chonaill.
- 3Check the recording before your first adventureOnce you are in town, open the DOR app once and confirm it is recording. If the game is not detected, follow what to do when the recorder does not detect your game. Then jot down a rough plan, like 'raid about an hour after login, cooking after that'.
- 4Save a clip right after a moment you loveWhen you play an ensemble through in sync with friends, or bring down a dungeon boss, press the clip save shortcut right after. Save the moment a sunset hits just right on the spot too, and you never have to scroll a multi hour recording from the start.
- 5Quit and open My ClipsFinish your adventure and close the game. The session video and every clip you saved appear together in My Clips in the DOR app. Moments you forgot to clip are all in the session video too.
Find your recordings
Find your recordings in My Clips in the DOR app, also called the library. Each time you open and close Mabinogi Mobile is grouped into one session, and moments saved with the clip save shortcut appear as separate clips. Raids and dungeons begin after an entry loading screen, so skim the timeline for the point where the screen changes, then move forward to where the boss appears to find the fight quickly. For life skills, look for stretches where gathering or cooking motions repeat; for scenery, look for moments when the camera stops while traveling. Trim a boss kill short, around 30 seconds before the final hit, and give life skills or scenery about a minute, and you get two very different videos from one recording. Export as 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, and see how to trim game clips for the full walkthrough. Like videos you want to keep, such as the first time you and a friend nailed an ensemble. When space fills up, older videos you have not liked are cleared first.
Save the moments you want to keep
Even with the whole session recorded, the scenes you want as memories are much easier to find if you clip them on the spot. Press the clip save shortcut and the last stretch is saved as a clip. The default length is 30 seconds, and you can choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds in settings. A dungeon boss kill fits about 30 seconds from just before the final hit, and quick moments like a perfect dish or your first rune work at 15 seconds. An ensemble with friends runs the length of a song, so set clips to 60 seconds to keep its flow, and scenery like a Tir Chonaill sunset or a campfire break suits 45 or 60 seconds. Good moments to press it are right after a raid boss falls and right after friends gather around a campfire you just lit. Length settings are covered in saving the last few seconds instantly.
Find what was said with AI Voice Notes
In Mabinogi Mobile, the conversations with friends are half the adventure. Lines like 'I lit a campfire, come rest here', 'let's play the next song together', 'heard the dungeon boss pattern changed, careful' and 'can you spare some cooking ingredients?' drift back and forth. DOR records game audio and your microphone together, and AI Voice Notes writes the chats you had by the campfire onto the recording timeline as text. You can read again which dungeon you planned to visit next and who suggested which song, right alongside the video, and selecting a line jumps straight to that scene. Your time together is kept along with the conversation, which makes looking back a real pleasure. If your mic sounds quiet, check your input device with recording games with mic audio.
Build a montage with AI Highlight
A week with friends deserves to become a warm vlog. In the library, check your clips of a campfire break, an ensemble with friends, a dungeon boss kill, a Tir Chonaill sunset, a perfect dish and your first rune, then select AI Highlight. DOR joins a day in Erinn into one video. Pick only combat clips for a party highlights video, or only life and scenery clips for a slow Erinn diary. If you want to put scenes from several days in date order yourself, see how to merge game clips.
Edit in DOR Studio
DOR Studio opens in your browser with nothing to install. Trim just the stretch where the sun sets, lay calm background music over it and add the town name as text for a mood piece. Try a punch zoom on the frame where a dungeon boss falls, a shake zoom on a big boss attack, and a glitch transition between scenes to change the mood. You can also merge scenes from several days into one keepsake video. Export in 1:1 or 9:16 for Instagram Reels; framing tips are in recording games for vertical Shorts. Download the result as an mp4 or share a link straight away.
Share with a dor.gg link
Send trimmed moments as dor.gg links. Whoever opens one plays it right in their browser, even on a phone, without the app. Paste an ensemble clip into Discord or a group chat and the friends who played it with you see it at once, while raid kills fit the guild chat with the party who went in together. A scenery video with background music lands well even with friends who have never played Mabinogi. How to make videos for each kind of memory is covered in Mabinogi Mobile PC recording and sharing, and posting to Discord is covered in sharing clips on Discord.
Mabinogi Mobile recommended settings and troubleshooting
Mabinogi Mobile is light on hardware, so recording runs smoothly even at minimum spec. The default 1080p at 30fps captures Erinn's scenery and characters clearly, and if you want raid fights to look smoother, choose 60fps. On a laptop, the 720p/30fps mode keeps the load down; tips for light setups are in recording games on a low end PC. DOR uses GPU hardware encoding, so its impact on in game frame rate is small. Fullscreen, windowed and borderless windows all record. If you often leave the game running for life skills, you can switch full session recording off per game in settings on days you do not need it, then turn it back on for raid nights. DOR has no cheat features and never touches your game files or play data.
| Symptom | What to check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The recording is a black screen | The display mode in the game's settings | DOR records fullscreen, windowed and borderless alike. If it is still black, follow [fixing fullscreen recording](fullscreen-recording-not-working) to switch to monitor capture. |
| Ensemble music or friends' voices are missing | Your Windows output device and DOR audio settings | Confirm which device the game plays through, then work through [fixing game recordings with no sound](game-recording-no-sound-fix). |
| Files get large from long life skill sessions | Recording resolution and free drive space | Clip only the moments you want and see [reducing game recording file size](reduce-game-recording-file-size). |
| You want to be sure a planned raid is recorded | The device you log in on | Log in on the PC version and the raid is recorded from the entry loading screen to the boss kill. |
| Worried a recorder could affect your account | How DOR works | DOR only captures the screen, has no cheat features and does not modify game files or play data. |
